iCast – A New Media Production Company

WHAT DO WE DO?
Conceive, create, distribute and monetize content for the web and beyond.

iCast is a new media production company that creates audio & visual content for record labels, management companies, events, festivals, live gigs, television programmes, film epk, VAC and podcast production. As we continue to evolve in line with the digital world, iCast is fast becoming one of the foremost new media production companies, able to deliver high quality content for the online realm and beyond.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

We’re happy to work with you and your departments from inception, designing the best possible approach for content that fits the subject and its audience.

Alternatively, if you have your strategy in place and know what you need, we’re happy to work alongside your teams and deliver to your brief.

We never ‘template’ a subject, preferring instead to work with the various teams and their visions, incorporating our knowledge of the market and what works.

We believe a band’s visual content is as important as their audio content.

We understand the final destination and the marketplace for the content we create.

MONETIZATION

We have key relationships in place with the major agencies.

We have good relationships and knowledge of the ad placement companies.

We’re used to developing innovative ways to generate payment for content, such as setting up alternative reality gaming (ARG) elements.

We’re adept at creating targeted edits for resale on itunes and other platforms.

TECHNOLOGY

It’s in our interest to keep abreast of latest technological developments and incorporate them into campaigns, i.e. flip cams, kyte / mobile uploads and strategies / new sites and channels for distribution.

By keeping on top of the latest tech developments, we can offer the best quality content, the best suggestions for distribution, the most innovative and fresh ideas and the best monetization strategies.

DISTRIBUTION

We can create and deliver bespoke edits to sites as requested.

We have key relationships in place with major sites and aggregators.

We can provide seeding and SEO services.

We have outlets onto online TV channels and social networking sites.

WINNER – BEST VIDEO PODCAST AT THE DIGITAL MUSIC AWARDS 2007

iCast is the DMA award winning company that has evolved with this new medium. It brings a history of working closely with label and management companies on low to mid budget productions which require a more guerilla approach and creative solutions to small budgets and limited access. We’ve now evolved into a fully fledged production company based in Soho working with some of the best directors, DOP’s, producers and editors around. From one off gig specials with full mixed sound through tour diaries recorded on the hoof and digital epk’s, iCast has a history of creative solutions, artist understanding and innovative content creation.
